All Saints’ Episcopal Church
We welcome, serve and love all unconditionally through Jesus Christ THIS WEEK AT ALL SAINTS: From the Rector: This weekend we celebrate Labor Day. The collect for Labor Day uses these words, “So guide us in the work we do, that we may do it not for self alone, but for the common good; and, as we seek a proper return for our own labor, make us mindful of the rightful aspirations of other workers, and arouse our concern for those who are out of work” BCP p.261. With the celebration of Labor Day, we begin our work together. Part of what we do to make a difference is the ministries we share. September 9th will be a day set aside to give thanks for our common ministry. Beginning at 9:30 until church begins and following, ministries will be highlighted in the Parish Hall. I hope you will take a look at all we do. I also hope you will find your place and share in our common work. Maybe it is something you have never done before or maybe it is something you have done in the past. Maybe you have an idea for a new way to minister in the name of Christ. Please pray about where you fit in and what God is calling you to do as you witness to God’s redeeming love.
