The purpose of the pet memorial program at All Saints’ Episcopal Church is to provide a means for church members and the local community to honor and remember their beloved pets within the context of the church community.
The program is open to church members and members of the local community who wish to commemorate their deceased pets. The Pet Memorial Garden was established in 2023. It provides a place for grieving pet caregivers to scatter cremains and hold memorial services for their deceased pets. Pet owners of all faiths may apply to hold pet memorial ceremonies and/or scatter pet cremains in the Pet Memorial Garden. Memorial services for deceased pets may be held with or without scattering of the pet’s cremains. Arrangements can be made for our priest to officiate at pet memorial services. Proof of professional cremation and approval from the All Saints’ Church Vestry is required before scattering cremains in the Pet Memorial Garden.
