All Saints’ Episcopal Church
We welcome, serve and love all unconditionally through Jesus Christ THIS WEEK AT ALL SAINTS From the Rector: I hope you are looking forward to August 21st as Alicia and I are. Our plans are to join the faculty and students at PC for the eclipse. I hope to see some of you there and wish everyone a safe and exciting day. We do have many things happening in our midst. One I’d like to tell you about is that we have a new sign in front of the parish house welcoming all PC students to All Saints. The sign posts are permanent and we will have other signs throughout the year. Also, our Pastoral Care committee met this week with 13 members strong as they came together to prepare casseroles for pastoral care needs. Please notice the new freezer which will be used for storing casseroles and baked goods. Marlene Halbert outdid herself prepping the ingredients and bringing a finished product to be shared with the group for dinner. Thank you Marlene for a wonderful evening of good food and fellowship! Also, Alicia and I have been working hard to prepare the database for our new membership software. As it goes live, you will receive an email inviting you to connect. Please then check your information for accuracy. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. One thing I would like to add for our worship is the warmth and color of an oriental rug in front of the altar. If you have one you’d like for us to use, please let me know. The ideal size to fit the space would be approximately 6’ x 8’. Sunday, August 27th Alicia and I will be gone on vacation. We welcome Jim Nichols back to All Saints to celebrate and preach that Sunday.
