All Saints’ Episcopal Church
We welcome, serve and love all unconditionally through Jesus Christ THIS WEEK AT ALL SAINTS From the Rector: The First Annual Blessing of the Animals took place this past Sunday. We had 30 people but more importantly, we blessed 20 cats and dogs on a glorious afternoon. I want to thank all who made it possible, especially those who assisted with advertising and setting up for the service. I also want to thank the Laurens County Humane Society for being present with two of their rescue cats up for adoption. On November 1st, I will be sending a stewardship letter along with a card to the parish. Please begin to pray about your response. There will be additional cards available that Sunday, November 5th in the church. By December 3rd, I hope that all cards will be returned to the church so we can bless them during our Eucharist. This coming Sunday we will have Peter Hobbie continues his series of Christian Formation classes on Doctrines of the Church. Peter’s ability to lead and teach is a gift to our parish. I hope you will plan to join us this Sunday at 9:30am. Our next Episcopal Tailgating will be Saturday, October 28th for PC’s Homecoming. We will be set up by noon for kick-off at 2:30. Please bring a chair and join us! As always, look for the red truck with Episcopal and PC flags flying in the Garnet section across from the baseball field. I continue to give thanks to God for All Saints and each of you.
