All Saints’ Episcopal Church
We welcome, serve and love all unconditionally
through Jesus Christ

THIS WEEK AT ALL SAINTS:

Yesterday, we said “see you later” to our diocesan intern, Mitchell Felton.  Mitchell spent 6 months with us as he is in discernment for ordination.  We are sad to see him go, but I know his many gifts and talents will be used to the glory of God in whatever capacity he is called.
Mitchell wrote of his experience with us in a post on Facebook which he graciously gave me permission to quote.

“We Unconditionally Welcome, Serve, and Love All Through Jesus Christ”.

What a pleasure it has been interning at All Saints’ Episcopal Church the last six months and to work alongside Charles Davis in my Holy Orders discernment.  Words won’t do justice for the gratitude I have for everyone there, so I hope my actions make up for it.

*I am not fully ready, but I am willing*

 ALL SAINTS’ NEWS:
PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE needs new members.  If you are not on a list and would like to be, please contact LeAnn Watson at 833-4404.  Committee members help with receptions, funerals and provide meals during times of pastoral needs.

SERMONS are now available to read on the website.  Each week they are uploaded along with a copy of the Newsbytes.  You’ll find the tab for each at the top of the home page.

THE NURSERY is now available for those who wish to use it.  We are assigning volunteers on a monthly rotation throughout the year.  Please consider volunteering – safe church training is required.  Information regarding training dates and sites can be found on the diocesan website – www.edusc.org

THE FIRST SUNDAY OUTREACH OFFERING is taken up at the close of the service on the first Sunday of each month.  July’s offering will go to Laurens County Memorial Home.

UNITED MINISTRIES FOOD BASKETS:   Nonperishable food will be received at the church at any time. This food will be presented at the altar on the second Sunday of each month. Please remember to bring nonperishable foods to fill the baskets!

SINGING ROOSTER FAIR-TRADE COFFEE FROM HAITI is available through the church as a way of supporting our diocesan mission in Cange.  Bags of coffee are available for purchase in the parish hall.  Buy some for yourself—and some to give as gifts!   All proceeds go to the farmers who grow the coffee in Haiti.

GLUTEN-FREE COMMUNION WAFERS are always available upon request.  Let the priest know before the service or at the communion rail.
