THIS WEEK AT ALL SAINTS
From the Rector:
You should all have received your stewardship packets. If you have not, please contact the office. There will also be additional cards in the back of the church on Sunday. I hope to have all cards returned by December 3rd so we can bless them during our Eucharist.
Sunday, there will be a sign-up sheet for soup and cornbread at the Advent dinners on November 29th and December 13th. I look forward to these events and us coming together during this wonderful season.
This Sunday we continue our series on Advent during Christian formation. We will look at the theological and liturgical meanings of the season. Please come with questions as we wonder together about this season of anticipation.
Our flower chart for 2018 is in the church and ready to be filled in. We still have a couple of slots left for December of this year. If you would like to give the flowers on Dec. 3rd, 10th or 24th, please let us know via email or a phone call.
This Thursday our nation celebrates Thanksgiving. I hope your celebration will be holy and wonderful. You continue in my prayers as we enter this season of anticipation of the Incarnation.
