All Saints’ Episcopal Church
We welcome, serve and love all unconditionally
through Jesus Christ

THIS WEEK AT ALL SAINTS:

From the Rector:

Our All Saints’ Christmas Dinner was held last evening, and a great time was had by all.  Thank you to all who helped coordinate, plan and clean up.  A special shout out to Julie Keadle for organizing the event.

Please join us for our last Advent Evening Prayer this Wednesday at 6:00 pm followed by a simple supper together.

Another quick reminder to please turn in your pledge card before the end of the year.  Our annual parish meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, January 26th so we’d like to have them to finalize budget preparations.  If you need another card, please pick one up in the back of the church.

ALL SAINTS’ NEWS:

ALL SAINTS’ PICTORIAL DIRECTORY is still in the works.  We do have an updated directory available located at the back of the church.  Please feel free to pick one up.

PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE needs new members.  If you are not on a list and would like to be, please contact LeAnn Watson at 833-4404.  Committee members help with receptions, funerals and provide meals during times of pastoral needs.

SERMONS are now available to read on the website.  Each week they are uploaded along with a copy of the Newsbytes.  You’ll find the tab for each at the top of the home page.

THE NURSERY is now available for those who wish to use it.  We are assigning volunteers on a monthly rotation throughout the year.  Please consider volunteering – safe church training is required.  Information regarding training dates and sites can be found on the diocesan website – www.edusc.org

THE FIRST SUNDAY OUTREACH OFFERING is taken up at the close of the service on the first Sunday of each month.  January’s offering is to Boy’s Farm, Inc.

UNITED MINISTRIES FOOD BASKETS:   Nonperishable food will be received at the church at any time. This food will be presented at the altar on the second Sunday of each month. Please remember to bring nonperishable foods to fill the baskets!

SINGING ROOSTER FAIR-TRADE COFFEE FROM HAITI is available through the church as a way of supporting our diocesan mission in Cange.  Bags of coffee are available for purchase
in the parish hall as well as beautiful ornaments and home décor.   Buy some for yourself—and some to give as gifts!   All proceeds go to the farmers who grow the coffee in Haiti.

GLUTEN-FREE COMMUNION WAFERS are always available upon request.  Let the priest know before the service or at the communion rail.
