All Saints’ Episcopal Church
We welcome, serve and love all unconditionally through Jesus Christ THIS WEEK AT ALL SAINTS: From the Rector: There are many remarkable things happening as we enter into Lent. First off, Happy Mardi Gras! Today is Shrove Tuesday and we are gearing up for our Pancake Supper this evening at 6:00 pm in the Parish Hall. Please come and bring a friend. Tomorrow our first Ash Wednesday service will be in partnership with Canterbury ministries on the campus of PC (outside in the back of Neville Hall, weather permitting). The service at All Saints takes place at 6:00 pm. During the season of Lent, we will be offering two Film and Theology series events as well as weekly Evening Prayer services followed by a light supper shared with Epiphany in Laurens. We begin on Wednesday, Feb. 21st at All Saints at 6:00 pm. A full schedule is located in “Upcoming Events.” The first Film and Theology event is Sunday, February 25th at 5:00 pm followed by a chili supper and discussion. The film is “Cool Hand Luke”. Please make time for this event and bring a friend. Lastly, a reminder we are now offering nursery during the 10:30 am service for anyone who’d like to use it. Although children are always welcome in church, this gives families an option. Let me know if you’d like to volunteer for this ministry. We also have set up a “Valentine’s Day Gifts for the Nursery” table in the parish hall. Please take a labeled valentine and bring the gift to help upgrade the nursery. Any monetary gift is also appreciated.
