WNC Relief Supplies Much Appreciated
On 10/17/2024, much-needed supplies, filling a truck and an attached trailer, were delivered to the West Yancey County Fire Station in Burnsville, NC by Howard and Cindy Pierce. They witnessed both the devastation of the area and the sorrow, courage and deep appreciation of those affected by Hurricane Helene. Supplies included:

- The devastated area of NC has sent out a plea for flashlights, lanterns, batteries, camp stoves, and propane cylinders. A donation drop-off site is at the front double doors of the Parish Hall at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 505 Calvert Avenue, Clinton. Someone will go by regularly and take items inside.

On 10/17/2024, much-needed supplies, filling a truck and an attached trailer, were delivered to the West Yancey County Fire Station in Burnsville, NC by Howard and Cindy Pierce. They witnessed both the devastation of the area and the sorrow, courage and deep appreciation of those affected by Hurricane Helene. Supplies included:
- 11 twenty-gallon propane tanks (filled)
- 22 propane cylinders (filled)
- large standing outdoor cooktop
- 2 camp stoves
- winter clothing (coats, hats, scarves, gloves)
- tissue products
- 15 crates of water
- dog & cat food
- boxes of baby formula and diapers
- canned food
- personal toiletries
